Plywood
Baltic birch, MDF-core veneered panels, Medex, Ultralight, fire-rated. The default for prototypes, fixtures, and anything that gets painted.
Baltic birch is the workhorse: void-free plies, an edge clean enough to leave exposed, and it lasers well. MDF-core veneered panels are the move when you need a dead-flat face — white oak, walnut, cherry, sapele, rift or plain-sliced. Medex when it’s going somewhere damp. Ultralight when weight matters.
We don’t keep it on a rack. We order it for your job, which means you’re picking from a real catalog rather than from whatever happens to be leaning against the wall.
